In the 1950’s it was a four-door Eldorado, which lasted until 1960. in 1986 the only remaining rear wheel drive Cadillac was renamed brougham before the name was used to refer to smaller front wheel drive Cadillac. The Cadillac brougham was manufactured by the general motors in the USA. It was a full size luxury car available as a four-door sedan built on the FR layout. It has a D-body platform. Various engines were used to run the Cadillac brougham. The first was a 5.0-liter l02 V8 engine. This was followed by a 5.0-liter Chevrolet V8 engine and finally a 5.0-liter l05/llo V8 engine that powered the vehicle until they halted production. The vehicle had a four speed automatic transmission and a curb weight of 1900kg. Its total body length was 221 inches and it had a width of 76.5 inches. A wheelbase of 121.5 inches and a height of 57.4 inches completed the dimensions of this car. Being a large vehicle with a powerful engine meant it needed more fuel hence, it had a fuel capacity of 94.6 liters.
