Buick Grand National Xenon Headlights Grand National HID Kit Lights Conversion
The Buick Grand National was launched in 1982. It was specially named for the NASCAR Grand National racing series to commemorate its success since the brand won the Manufacturers Cup in both 1981 & 1982. The exterior of the car was characterized by light silver gray fire mist paint to each side. It also had red pinstripes, HID Kit and loud lettering proclaiming "BUICK". The interior was furnished with the special adjustable "Lear-Seigler" seats. The front seat was embroidered with Buick's unique "6" icon. The “6” logo, together with the words "GRAND NATIONAL BUICK MOTOR DIVISION” was also visible in a special clock delete plate that was added to the instrument panel. It also had xenon lights installed for brighter lighting. Buick Grand National was not produced in 1983 but in 1984, it returned in all black. Out of the 5,204 Turbo Regals produced that year, 2000 of which belonged to the line. In 1986, a modified engine design with an inter-cooling system enhanced the car’s performance even further. In 1987, buyers were given the option for a lightweight WE4 (Turbo T), which only 1,547 of such variant were produced. Once again, they were painted black, which stayed true to the style of the line with the only difference in its interior. For the final year, 1987, Buick introduced the GNX, which was known as the Darth Vader Car.Lights color options:
